Disability Employment
As a specialist Disability Employment provider we provide individual assistance to help job seekers overcome employment barriers and secure meaningful employment. We assist people with a disability, injury, learning or medical condition to find and remain in employment. Our service includes comprehensive pre-employment training such as:
- Developing a professional resume
- Building job search skills and techniques
- Creating application letters
- Improving interview skills
- Providing interview support
Our consultants work within our employer networks to negotiate vacancies on your behalf. Once employed, we will support you in your new role and will offer on-going on and off-site support and assistance as required.
School-to-Work Transition Program
Interact Employment Services assists Year 10 to 12 students and school leavers with a disability to find casual, part time or full time work. We provide a flexible program so that you can participate while you are still at school, TAFE or university, or after you leave full time education. We also assist students into school-based apprenticeships or traineeships with the State Government.
Jobs in Jeopardy
Interact Employment Services provides a service known as 'Jobs in Jeopardy' which assists people at risk of losing their job due to their disability or medical condition and/or lack of understanding and support in the workplace. We assist the job seeker to either remain in employment or find another suitable job, if necessary. Click here for more information.
